Victoria E. Wise

Schenectady, NY - Victoria E. Wise, 24, of William St., passed away suddenly Monday, June 7, 2021 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady.

Victoria grew up in Schenectady. She was a 2014 graduate of Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons High School where she excelled in Varsity Swimming and Softball.

Following high school, she was employed by SEFCU as an outreach representative while attending Schenectady County Community College, graduating in 2020.

Affectionately known as “Ms. Blueberry”, she was employed as the Fine Arts Coordinator and the Enrollment manager at the Rotterdam Boys and Girls Club.

Her passion for the fine arts radiated through her drawings, arts, and crafts.

She will be remembered for her amazing sense of humor; her presence would “light up the room”.  Her favorite color was dark blue and she thought of herself as a mermaid.

She attended and was baptized in the name of the Lord at Marantha Ministries in Schenectady.

Most important, she was the greatest mom to her son Slade and her companion Will Toro; She also leaves her loving mother Nicole Wise, beloved sisters: Arianna & Chloe Wise, and Taquisha Wise-Panza; maternal grandparents: Edward “Poppa” and Nancy “Meme” Sponable; nephew Nathan Wise Ross; Uncles: Christopher & Craig Sponable and Jason (Jill) Sponable; Great- Uncles Rich & Joseph (Janet) Gibson; Mother & Father-in-Law Radames “Poppa Ray” and Julia Toro; Close Friends Leo and Julie Rouse and their family McKenzie and Knylah; as well as a host of beloved friends and extended family.

Calling hours will be held from 4:00pm to 6:30pm Thursday, June 10 at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Avenue, Colonie with a Celebration of Life Service to begin at 6:30pm.
