Paul Sheehan Obituary

 

COLONIE – Paul A. Sheehan, 71, of Colonie, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 23, 2019, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Albany and was the son of the late Edmund J. and Helen R. Sheehan. Paul was a graduate of Hudson Valley Community College. He had worked for over 33 years as a tax technician with NYS Dept. of Tax and Finance.  Paul and was an avid golfer. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and bowling. Paul loved to follow the Horses at Saratoga Race Track.

Paul is the beloved husband of thirty nine years to Jeannie LeBlanc Sheehan. He is the father of Daniel P. and Christine T. Sheehan. He is the brother of Joseph E. Sheehan, James (Kelli) Sheehan and the late Richard Sheehan. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Paul’s family of Wednesday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Cannon funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie. A prayer service will be offered at 6:30 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, One Penny Lane, Latham, NY 12110 in memory of Paul A. Sheehan.
