Michael Kelley Obituary

COXSACKIE – Michael L. Kelley, 54, of Coxsackie, passed away suddenly on Monday, April 5, 2021 at his residence.

 He was born in Sandstone, MN and was the son of John and Beverly Kelley. Raised in Wilton NY, Mike was a graduate of South Glens Falls High School. Mike had served in the US Navy aboard the USS Saratoga between 1986 to 1989. He was employed as a forklift operator at Albany Pipe and Nipple in Green Island for nearly 18 years.

Mike is the beloved husband of Suzanne Kelley (McDonald) devoted father of Tiffany Gardner (Kevin) of Hannacroix, Andrew Kelley of Watervliet, David Skudera (Alyssa) of Selkirk, Michael Kelley (Emily Jones), Scott Kelley of Troy and Rihanna Kelley (Ryan Sellick) of Voorheesville. Mike is also the cherished grandfather of Landon, Clara and Jackson. In addition to his wife, children and grandchildren, Mike is the brother of Christy Petro (William) of Port Henry, Jackie Tyler (Daniel Bardon), of Saratoga Springs and the late Laurie Atashian (Jim) of Naples, FL. Mike is also survived by his former wife and friend, Linda Ward of Green Island as well as nieces, nephews, great-nephews and countless friends.

 Mike was a family man who lived each day to its fullest, enjoyed music, the outdoors, fishing, BBQs for his family and “working with his tools”. Mike was an avid KISS fan as well as the Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins and Miami Dolphins.
