Mary V. Tremblay

Guilderland – Mary Vera Lepore Tremblay, 98, of Guilderland, passed away March 14, 2023, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Providence, RI and was the daughter of the late Mariano and Amelia Lepore. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph M. Tremblay in 2008.

Mary resided in Colonie for most of her life. She worked for many years at Colonie Central High School and was well loved by the students who called her Mrs. T. Mary loved crafting, everyone in the family has a beautiful, handcrafted gift, made especially for them. Most of all, Mary loved spending time with her family. She loved holidays at her home, where the tables would stretch from one end of the house to the other. She had a wonderful sense of humor and gave the best hugs always accompanied by 3 kisses.

Mary is the beloved mother of Anthony (Bernadette) Tremblay, Christine (Everett) Darnielle, Raymond (Deborah) Tremblay, Anne Marie (Thomas) O’Connor, Joseph (Mary) Tremblay Jr., James (Peggy) Tremblay, Kathy (Ralph) Tanski and John (Michele) Tremblay. She is the sister of Dante Lepore and the late Anthony and John Lepore.  Mary is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday morning at 10:00 at Christ the King Church, Guilderland. Visitation will be prior to the Mass from 9 to 10 am at Church.
