Marie A. Reilly

ALBANY – Marie A. Reilly, of Albany, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 7, 2018.

She was born in Greenpoint, Brooklyn and was the daughter of the late Patrick and Catherine Dauscher McCauley. Marie had worked for the Albany County Clerk’s Office for over 20 years, retiring as the Deputy County Clerk. She loved the holidays with her cherished children and grandchildren. Marie embraced her Irish heritage and longstanding connection to her Brooklyn birthplace. As generous and giving as they come, Marie has made final gift of anatomical donation at Albany Medical College.

She was predeceased by her husband, Michael W. Reilly Sr., her son, Michael W. Reilly Jr. and her siblings, Patrick and Alice McCauley, Kay Vadney (William). She is the beloved mother of Kathleen Reilly Myers and Donna (Daniel) Reilly Middleton. Marie is the grandmother of Victoria Reilly, Daniel, Middleton, Michael (Rosie) Myers Jr. and Latia Reilly. She is the great grandmother of Mikayla Myers. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Marie’s family on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie. A prayer service will be offered at7:00 pm at the funeral home.
