May 12, 2001 ~ February 5, 2024 (age 22) 22 Years Old
COLONIE – Laurenz X. Fitch, 22, of Colonie passed away at home on Monday, February 05, 2024.
He was born in Niskayuna and is the beloved son of Laurence S. and Maria E. Isabella Fitch.
Laurenz was a 2019 graduate of Colonie High School where he was a member of the Volleyball and Track teams. He pursued his love of cooking upon graduation and took on the Baker position at Texas Roadhouse and expanded his skills more recently at Lanie’s Café in Colonie. Laurenz enjoyed gaming, anime, cooking, writing and the arts. He cherished his family and friends and loved to share his passions with them. His love of playing Dungeons & Dragons and Magic the Gathering games with his friends was one of his most cherished activities. Laurenz recently fulfilled his dream of attending a fighting game expo in Las Vegas with a cross country trip alongside his best friends.
He lived a life full of joy with a loving heart and empathy for others, which defines just who he was. Laurenz is loved and missed by all those who knew and loved him.
He is the brother of Chance, Lexington and Lacey Fitch. Laurenz is the grandson of Thomas M. Fitch and the late Lauren Cowan (Fitch), James E. and Deborah Jo Isabella. He is the nephew of Amanda and Audra Isabella, Thomas W. Fitch, Phillip Fitch, Duane and Renee Graves, Aaron and Yvette James, John and Deborah Fitch. He is also survived by many cousins, dear family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Laurenz’s family on Sunday afternoon from 1 to 4 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave. Colonie. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 9:00 am at St. Luke’s Church, 1235 State Street, Schenectady. The Rite of Catholic Committal will follow at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
