James Germano Obituary

LATHAM – James “Jim” A. Germano, 60, of Latham, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 20, 2022 at Albany Medical Center. Jim was born in Troy and was the son of the late Anthony G. and Madeline T. (Peach) Gross Germano.

Jim was a talented Master Barber at Patrick’s Barbershop in Schenectady and more recently at Dominic’s Barbershop in Loudonville. He enjoyed his pet fish, music, and animals. Jim had a strong faith and he will be remembered for his giving and generous nature.

Jim is the brother of Kathryn (Garry) Henzel, Louis (Anita) Germano, Madeline Bonomo (late Richard), and Angelina (Chris) Brignola. He is the father of Giovanna, whom he loved with all his heart. Jim is the loving companion of Amanda Wolfe who brought great happiness to his life. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the highly skilled staff at Albany Medical Center who took care of Jim with kindness and compassion. We are grateful for their proficient and gentle care.
