Colonie - William J. “Bill” Judge, Jr., of Brickley Drive finished living a life of 83 years on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 following a period of declining health.
Born on August 4, 1937 in Albany, he was son of William J. and Josephine (Rapacki) Judge, Sr. Bill was a graduate of South Colonie High School and then served in the US Marine Corps as a combat engineer from 1957-1961.
On August 4, 1973 he married Beverly Wargo and they settled in Colonie.
He retired in 1992 from Albany area Local 669 Fire Sprinkler Fitters and then he was employed for more than 10 years as a custodian at the South Colonie School District.
Bill enjoyed bowling, fishing, and trips to the Adirondacks.
Besides his parents, he is pre-deceased by a brother Joseph Judge and sisters Barbara Pharo, Patricia Shahinian, and infant sister Virginia Judge and infant brother John Judge.
He leaves his loving wife 47 years: Beverly Judge; two sons John (Karen) Judge of Texas and James Judge of Rexford; grandchildren: John Jr, Jacob, Hayden, and Nicholas Judge; a brother Michael (Pam) Judge of East Poestenkill as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday, May 4 at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Avenue, Colonie. Burial with military honors will be held at Saratoga National Cemetery at 12:30pm.
Calling hours will be held from 4:00pm to 7:00pm Monday, May 3 at the funeral home. Face masks are required and social distancing are required.
