COLONIE - Wanda L. Taylor, 85, of Colonie, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 02, 2025 at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center.

She was born in Plattsburgh and was the daughter of the late Norman and Marion Gonyea. Wanda was predeceased by her husband Lindley “Lenny” Taylor in 2022.

Wanda was a talented artist with expertise in dollmaking, painting and as a ceramics instructor. She was a devout Catholic and has a special devotion to the Blessed Mother.

Wanda is the mother of Mark (Denise) Taylor, Todd (Colleen) Taylor and Craig (Donald) Taylor. She is the grandmother of Justin Taylor and great grandmother of Clayton Taylor. Wanda is the sister of Jacqueline Elie and the late Mary Ellen Shank and Barbara Vezina. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Wanda’s family on Friday from 5 to 7 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave. Colonie. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 10:00 am at St. Paul the Apostle Church, 2733 Albany Street, Schenectady. Private interment will be in Saratoga National Cemetery.
