Vernard F. Epperson

LATHAM – Vernard F. Epperson, 74, of Latham, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2023, at the Schenectady Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation.

He was born in Schenectady and was the son of the late Frank and Grace Epperson. Vern was a machinist with the General Electric Company in Schenectady for forty years.

Vern is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Gail Fordham Epperson. He is the father of Chaenie and Zachary Epperson. He is the stepfather of Jeffrey Timmons, Gerald Fordham, and Tracy Timmons. Vern is the brother of Joseph Epperson, Gail Christmas and Lavita Thompson. He is also survived by a host of family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Vern’s family on Saturday from 12 noon to 1 pm at Cannon Funeral Home 2020 Central Ave., Colonie.
