Thomas P. Keegan

ALBANY – Thomas Patrick Keegan, 68, of Albany passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at the Albany VA Hospital, surrounded by the love of his family.

Tom was born in Albany and was the cherished son of Carl W. and Lorraine Callahan Keegan. He was a 1977 graduate of Colonie High and Hudson Valley Community College. Tom served in the US Navy from 1980 through 1984 where he earned several commendations. He was employed with Marcella’s Appliance Company for over thirty years and had was also a production associate with Fortitech. Tom was an avid fisherman. He was a longtime fan of the NY Giants the NY Mets and the Dallas Cowboys.

In addition to his parents, Tom is survived by his siblings, Michele (John) Matuszek, Karen (Tim) Cunningham, Michael Keegan, Brian (Jessica) Keegan and Ken Keegan. He is uncle of Justin and Megan Matuszek, Kyle, Samantha and Nicole Cunningham, Rylie and Blake Keegan and several grand nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Tom’s family on Monday from 10:30 am to 12 :00 pm at Christ Our Light Catholic Church, 1 Maria Drive, Loudonville. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 at the Church. Interment will follow at Saratoga National VA Cemetery, Schuylerville.
