Susan E. Murray

Susan E. Hausmann-Murray, 69, of Slingerlands, passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 14, 2025. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late William and Lucille Hausmann. She was a recent employee of the South Colonie Central School District. Sue was a kind and caring friend to everyone she met. Her positive mindset and empathy were apparent in all that she did. She was also a remarkably creative person. In her spare time, Sue enjoyed drawing, painting and designing and was always looking for a new project. She was an avid baker and was frequently experimenting with new recipes. Sue is survived by her son, Justin (Lindsay) Peterson and her beloved grandson Owen Peterson. She is also survived by her siblings Tracy (Jeffry) Beberwyck of Halfmoon, Michele Hausmann of Clifton Park, Mark Hausmann of Ballston Lake, and Eric Hausmann (Marlina) of Portland, OR.
