Richard A. LaFave. Jr.

COLONIE – Richard A. LaFave, Jr., 60, of Colonie, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 5, 2026 after an extended illness. He was born in Albany and was the son of the late Richard A. LaFave Sr. and Barbara Tripp LaFave. Rick enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching Nascar.

Rick is the brother of Lisa (Dominick) DiBlasi, Patti Seguin and Jim (Bridget) LaFave. He is the uncle of Nick DiBlasi, Rachel (Paul) Seguin, Rich DiBlasi, Makayla DiBlasi and the late Gary Seguin Jr.

Funeral services will be private. Arrangements are by Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie.
