Albany – Patrick H. Brown, 67, of Colonie passed away suddenly surrounded by his loving family on July 7, 2026.

Pat was born on May 29, 1959 to the late Raymond and Antoinette (Cooper) Brown.

He worked for the City of Albany as a Supervisor of the Department of Recreation for 38 years, retiring at the age of 55.

Pat married the love of his life Lisa and they enjoyed 45 years together.

He loved camping at Lake Algonquin in Wells, where he was often found fishing or spending time with his children.

Pat was also a proud member of VFW William F. Wigand Post #8444 in Albany, and a big fan of the Yankees and the Steelers.

He was predeceased by his brother James Brown.

Pat is survived by his wife of 35 years, Lisa, his children; Danielle, Katie, Patricia, Patrick, and Sean Brown, his siblings; Sheryl Brown, William Brown, Daniel (Antoinette) Brown, Doreen (Eric) Williams, and many nieces’ nephews and dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 15, 2026 from 4 pm to 7 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie, with a Service of Remembrance at 7 pm. Memorial Donations may be made to VFW Post #8444, 370 Central Ave. Albany, NY 12205.
