Patricia A. Arras

Guilderland – Patricia A. Arras, 89, of Guilderland passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. She was a resident of Guilderland for over 52 years. She was born on June 7, 1936 to the late Spencer and Maretta Simon.

She retired from the New York State Police where she had worked as a secretary for over 15 years.

Patricia was married to her late husband Ronald Arras for over 50 years.

She was an avid dancer, enjoying many different genres of music, and also enjoyed going out to dinner and luncheons, and spending time with family and friends. Patricia was a member of the singles outreach support club and the Christ Our Light Senior Citizens Group.

She was predeceased by her husband Ronald and her son Mark Arras. Patricia is survived by her children Karen (Dave) Coyne, James Arras and Michael Arras, her grandchildren; Ashley Coyne, Michael Arras, Matthew Arras and her great grand daughter Savannah Arras and many friends she had made over the years.

Visitation will be held on Monday March 9, 2026 from 4 pm to 6 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave, Colonie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 11 am at Christ the King Church, 20 Sumter Ave., Albany, with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Colonie.
