Nazik S. Aghazarian

Nazik Aghazarian, known by those who loved her dearly as Tatik, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025 at the age of 88. She spent her final days surrounded by love and family at her home in Niskayuna, NY.

Nazik was born on December 22, 1936 in Yerevan, Armenia to Stepan and Paranzem Aghazarian. After losing her father at an early age, Nazik and her family persevered. She became highly respected head nurse for 25 years in Armenia while also finding the love of her life, Haroutun Semerdjian. Together, along with their 3 children, they immigrated to the United States in 1981 (Albany, NY) to enable more opportunities for their kids. Nazik’s legacy is one of dedication, enduring strength and endless warmth for others.

Nazik was predeceased by her husband of 60 years in 2020. She is survived by her children (Alice, Levon, and Artur), their spouses (Thomas, Hasmik, and Karine), and her 6 grandchildren (Nazely, Armine, Ani, Haik, Harout, and Anahit).
