Nancy E. Anderson, 60, of River Road passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023 at St. Peter’s Hospital in the comfort of her family following a long battle with liver disease.

Born on October 26, 1962, she was the daughter of Lawrence Krawczak and Roberta (Wickham) Vendetti.

Nancy was a 1980 graduate of Draper High School in Schenectady and a 1984 graduate of Siena College with a degree in Biology.

She retired from the New York State Department of Corrections as a computer programmer.

In retirement, she created and administrated the facebook page Wallace of the Woods a group that was founded by her for her affection for cats. She was also faithful and charitable to Wounded Warriors, Disabled Veterans, and Cats on the Kings.

She is pre-deceased by her mother Roberta Vendetti.

Survivors include her husband Greg Anderson of Melrose; father Russell Vendetti of Rotterdam; brothers: John Vendetti of Glenville and Joe (Jennifer) Vendetti of Niskayuna; several nieces, a nephew, and a grandnephew.

Calling hours will be held from 4:00pm to 6:00pm followed by a funeral service at 6:00pm on Tuesday, May 2 at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Avenue, Colonie.
