ALBANY – Mark E. Bolduc, 73, of Albany, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 after a long illness. Born October 9, 1952 in Albany, he was the son of the late Leo and Marcia Lounsbery Bolduc.

Mark graduated from Christian Brothers Academy, Siena University and received his Masters from the College of Saint Rose. His teaching career began on Kodiak Island, Alaska. He then taught as an adjunct at Maria College. Mark taught English for many years at Mercy High School until it closed, and ended his teaching career at Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons. He then began his career as office manager working for Keystone Builders and then Hanifin Builders.

Mark is survived by his only sibling, Carol Seitz (and the late David) of Niskayuna; three nephews, Steven, Jeffrey and Brian (Rachel) Seitz and two great nephews Brayden and Owen Seitz.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Mark’s family on Sunday from 3 to 5 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday morning at 10:00 at St. Clare’s Church, Colonie. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
