West Coxsackie – Marie Martin, 98, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy.
She was born in the Bronx and was the daughter of the late Peter J. and Pege Corovessis. Marie was predeceased by her husband Joseph Martin and her son in law Giuseppe Calabrese.
Marie is the beloved mother of Emily J. Calabrese. She is the cherished Granny of Peter (Monica) Calabrese and Christina (James) Trifiletti. She is the great grandmother of Liliana, Isabella, Jack, Valentina, Luca and Lorenzo. She is the family friend of Henry J. Bailly II.
Funeral services will be Monday at 12 noon at St. Sophia’s Greek Orthodox Church, 440 Whitehall Rd. Albany. Visitation will be at the church from 11am to 12 noon. Interment will be in Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, NY.
