FULTONVILLE - Lucas M. Polsinelli, 12, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at Albany Medical Center Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Albany and is the cherished son of Matthew and Lindsay LaPointe Polsinelli. Lucas is survived by his brother Andrew and his twin, Logan. He is the Maternal grandson of Andre and Kim LaPointe and Paternal grandson of Dino and Maria Polsinelli. He is survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
Lucas was a 7th grade student at Fonda/Fultonville Middle School. He was an avid lacrosse fan and was an honorary member of the Albany Firewolves. Lucas enjoyed virtual reality, riding on a motorcycle, roller skating, computers and technology. He had a special bond with his Aunt Koley, always creating fun activities. Lucas had a contagious laugh and a wonderful, engaging sense of humor.
The family would like to thank and acknowledge all of the love offered by Lucas’ Army, Dr. Jessica Geaney, the staff at AMCH Melodies Center, D7, PICU and the families that have been so kind and supportive throughout this journey.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Lucas’ family on Tuesday from 4 to 7 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave. Colonie. Funeral services will be Wednesday morning at 11:00 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
