Julia Ann Thomas

Saratoga Springs - Julia Ann Thomas died on May 24, 2025 at the age of 83. Julia joins her husband William Thomas of 60 years in heaven. Among the grieving are her children: Glenn (Yvonne) Thomas, Gregg (Denise) Thomas, Heather (David) Huntress, and Melissa Thomas (John Dietrich). With much love, she also leaves behind 3 grandchildren: Adam and Hailey Huntress and Simon Thomas but rejoices with her other granddaughters Taylor and Cheyenne Thomas in everlasting peace.

Julia's earned multiple certifications on IBM computers after high school and went on to have a very successful 45-year career with the State of New York (as both a telephone) as a NY telephone operator and computer operator for BOCES and Empire State College. Her children spent happy times at her workplaces, before "Take your kids to work" was in vogue. It gave all of us a very early education of the computer age that would lead us into adulthood. Julia and Bill raised four successful children, mostly in Saratoga Springs, their home of 50 years.
