Joel M. Elmore

COLONIE – Joel M. Elmore, 53, of Colonie, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at his residence.
He was born in Plattsburgh and is the beloved son of Robert J. Elmore and Patricia Cooper Elmore of Plattsburgh. Joel is survived by his new wife, Nalinee Chanpacharin Elmore of Kratumbaen Thailand, his son Jaciel Torres of Orlando, Florida, his first wife Linette Elmore of Orlando, Florida, his brothers Mark Elmore of Raleigh, North Carolina and Eric Elmore of Clifton Park, New York. Several aunt, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.
Joel worked for over 30 years as an automotive finance and sales professional in Orlando, Florida and for the past five years at Lia Nissan in Colonie. Joel loved music and was an accomplished bass player who played in bands in New York and Florida.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
