Jeffrey A. Stevens

Jeffrey “Jeff” Stevens, 72, of Colonie, NY, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Albany Medical Center.

Born on September 27, 1954, in Troy, he was the son of the late James and Irene Stevens. Jeff spent many years working for the United States Postal Service in Colonie before his retirement. He was known for his steady work ethic and the quiet pride he took in a job well done.

Jeff shared many years of love and companionship with his wife, Kathleen Stevens (Sullivan). Together they built a life centered on simple joys, laughter, and time spent with those they cared about most.

He enjoyed deep sea fishing and cooking, always happiest when he could bring people together over a good meal. Summers were often spent camping at Daggett Lake, a place that held many fond memories. Jeff also cherished time with friends at “Everydays,” a spot affectionately known as “The Office,” where stories were shared and friendships grew stronger over the years.

Jeff was predeceased by his parents, James and Irene. He is survived by his wife Kathleen; his stepchildren, Tracy Sullivan and Michael Sullivan; and several grandchildren who brought him great pride and joy.

Jeff will be remembered for his easygoing nature, his loyalty to those he loved, and the many quiet moments that made up a life well lived.

Memorial Visitation will beheld on Saturday, April 4, 2026 from 1 pm - 2pm with a Funeral Service to begin at 2pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Albany NY 12205.
