Rotterdam - Jacqueline A. Trahan, 92, of Rotterdam, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 12, 2026 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island and was the daughter of the late Loretta and Joseph Galvin. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 64 years, Larry Trahan and her cherished son Neal Trahan. Jacqueline is the devoted mother of Laurie (James) Brisbin, Deborah Trahan, Kathleen Trahan (Doug Fiorillo) and Christine (Brian) Kosineski. She is the much-loved Grams of Larri Fish, Dana Hope, Brittany White, Hannah Brisbin, Abbi Brigan, Ian Brisbin, Julien Brisbin, Alyssa Kosineski, David Kosineski, Joshua Trahan, Nathan Trahan, Ella Trahan and Jared Fiorillo. Jacqueline is the adored GG of Lorelei and Sierra Fish, Jamis and Bodie Brisbin, Penelope Brigan and Sophia and Gummy bear White.

Jacqueline had worked for Campbell Plastics in Rotterdam. Along with raising her five children, she loved hugging her grandchildren and great grandchildren and just living life and watching the laughter and happiness of her family around her. She enjoyed the Rhode Island ocean and beaches, Brian’s cocktails, watching Bob Ross, lobster, lunches at Blue Ribbon, Farmer’s Markets, Celtic music and jewelry and joyful conversation with her daughter’s and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Jacqueline’s family on Monday evening from 4 to 6 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice Foundation (communityhospice.org) or the American Foundation for the Prevention of Suicide (afsp.org).
