Harry L. Khachadoorian

Glenmont - Harry Khachadoorian, of Glenmont, NY, and formerly of Menands for many years, passed on 5/8/2025, peacefully, surrounded by love, and unshakeable in his faith. 

Harry was born to Lucy and William Khachadoorian. He was raised in Menands where he still maintained lifelong connections. Harry's was a journey grounded in service and support to others. He served as a Menands volunteer firefighter for many years, and also in the military (US Army). He was a proud veteran who loved his country. 

Harry worked in many occupations over the years, from HVAC, to facility maintenance, to sales, to his most recent position as a bus driver for the Bethlehem School District (retired). 

Dedicated to his faith and helping others, Harry was active in the Bethlehem Community Church, where his church community was also family, and he was active in his service and ministry to Christ. 

Harry was a loving brother to his three sisters, Grace, Alice, and Jean, and also to his brother-in laws, who were brothers to him. He was a doting and faithful husband to his wife, Rosemary Khachadoorian, and a supportive and loving father to Renee Cantwell, William (Jeanne) Hamilton, and Hollie (Todd) Mendelowitz. He was proud Papa to his grandchildren, Nathan and Emily, Eric and Rachael, and Abiageal. Harry was also an involved and supportive uncle to his nieces and nephews, always in his heart. 

Harry is mourned and celebrated by his family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend memorial services at the Bethlehem Community Church, on Saturday, 5/17/2025 at 11am. To leave a message of condolence for the family, visit www.CannonFuneral.com.
