Dorothy Elizabeth Keith, 89, passed away on Monday, October 11, 2021 at St. Peter’s Hospital following a brief illness.

Dorothy grew up in New York, NY.

Dorothy was a homemaker. She was a member of Gideon’s International, spreading the Bible to all those in need. Dorothy also loved watching movies, listening to Christian music, and she was also a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Colonie.

Dorothy is predeceased by her first husband Gordon McDonald, her second Husband Douglas Keith, her son Robert McDonald and son in-law Michael Kelley.

She is survived by her children; James McDonald, Steven (Michele) McDonald, Karen Van DeMark, Thomas (Lorrie) McDonald, Kathleen McDonald.  and Suzanne Kelley as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Cannon Funeral Home at 2020 Central Ave., Colonie on Friday October 15th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. with a service at 3:30p.m.

Dorothy’s ashes will be entombment at Memory’s Garden in Colonie.
