David K. McCall

Colonie – David K. McCall, 76, of Colonie, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Albany Medical Center. He was born in Albany and was the son of the late David A. and Helen McCall.

Dave proudly served in the US Marine Corp as a young man. He served his community with the Colonie Police Dept for several years, retiring as a Detective. Along with his brother John, he was a former owner of the Tire Warehouse Co. Dave was an avid golfer and a fan of the New York Mets and the NY Giants. He cherished his time with his much-loved grandchildren.

Dave is the beloved husband of 42 years to the love of his life, Diane Marie McCall. He is the devoted father of Christopher (Sadie) McCall and Megan (Sean) Costello and his bonus daughter Lisa Maxham. Dave is the cherished Poppy of Kaleigh, Finnbar, Rose, Harper and Henry. Dave is the brother of the late John and Michael McCall.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Dave’s family on Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie. Funeral services will be private.
