Barbara D. Tucker

GUILDERLAND – Barbara D. Tucker, 86, of Guilderland, passed away after a brief illness on Monday, January 19,2026 at Ellis Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family.

She was born in Staten Island, NY and was the daughter of the late Henry and Tyynne Wuorio. Barbara was a career Army wife, traveling all over the world. She was an executive secretary for the FBI, the GE Women’s Club and later with the Galesi Group in Schenectady. Barbara loved to play bridge, bowl and golf at Pinehaven Country Club.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert H. Tucker Sr. in 2007. Barbara is the devoted mother of Wendy Tucker, Bob (Susan) Tucker, Kenneth Tucker and Derek (Cynthia) Tucker. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Barbara is the sister of the late Henry and Ronald Wuorio.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Barbara’s family on Sunday from 1 to 4 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave. Colonie.
