David Crandall, Sr. Obituary

Coxsackie- David C. Crandall Sr., 55, passed away suddenly on Monday, July 30, 2018. He was born in Niskayuna and is the son of Patricia Crandall and the late Ronald Crandall Sr.
 

David served in the US Air Force from 1980 through 1988. He was a longtime Corrections Officer at Schenectady County Correctional Facility. David enjoyed going on new adventures with his family and having date nights with his wife. He was an avid and loyal Baltimore Orioles fan who enjoyed attending games. He loved his dogs and volunteering wherever he was needed. David had a huge heart and was loved by so many.
                         
David is survived by his loving wife, Venus Valdez-Crandall and his children, Chantel Smith (Trish), David Crandall Jr, Anthony Peek, Genesis Fuentes, Javier Fuentes, Raquel Fuentes, Shane Slater (Lindsay), Craig Slater and grandchildren Jasmyn, Joshua, Lila, Sophia and Karsen. David is also survived by his brothers Ronald Crandall Jr. and Shawn Crandall and was preceded in death by his twin brother Donald Crandall.

Funeral services will be Monday evening  at 7:00 pm at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave. Colonie. Relatives and friends may visit with Dave’s family on Monday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home.
