Melicia Lynn Walwyn, 51, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2024 at her home.

Born in Belize City, Belize, she was the daughter of Kenneth A. Walwyn Sr. and Joyce Walwyn.

At age 2 Melicia immigrated to the United States with her family.

She was a graduate of Colonie High School.

Her past times included shopping, watching movies, and listening to Music. She was an avid lover of horror movies, amongst her favorites were the Friday the 13th and Halloween series.

She will be remembered as being very shy, sweet, and gentle.

Her father Kenneth A. Walwyn died before her.

Besides her mother Joyce Walwyn; she leaves her siblings Marilyn (Roosevelt) Council of Bronx, NY, Kenneth Walwyn, Jr of Troy, Charlotte Walwyn and Charles Walwyn both of Albany; a nephew Lamar Council and a niece Shari Council; Aunts and Uncles: Merlin Walwyn, Denzel and Glenford Jenkins, Demby Arnold, Pearl Flowers, Flora Jones, and Phyllis Rollins; a step aunt Marci Robertson and a step uncle Charles Walwyn.

Calling hours will be held from 11:00am to 1:00pm prior to the Funeral Service to be held at 1:00pm Monday, March 25 at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave, Colonie. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
